The team at ANHF Community Housing in Ultimo were kind enough to welcome us into their complex to prepare a traditional Chinese winter meal of goat stew, rice and veges for their 80 residents and staff. And while our team worked away in the kitchen, cooking and packing dinner boxes, the residents were treated to a show by a local illusionist.
It was certainly an enjoyable night for all involved – including the EDG team of volunteers, Brendon, Daisy, Eric, Isabel, Sasha Connie and Stephen. We look forward to bringing our Food Without Prejudice Project back to ANHF in the near future.
